734-485-2200A few quick steps can really help, especially if a tooth gets knocked out.
Pick it up by the top, not the root. Rinse it gently without scrubbing. Try to put it back in the socket, or keep it in milk. Call us right away. The first hour matters most.

Rinse with warm water and gently floss in case something is stuck. An over the counter pain reliever can help, but don't put aspirin on your gum. If the pain keeps you up at night, call us.
Bring the crown with you and avoid chewing on that side. We can often put it back on or make a new one the same day.
You don't need to be a current patient. Call us, tell us what is going on, and we will get you in as soon as we can.
Since we make crowns in the office, a broken tooth can often be fixed in one visit. Same day crowns
